Robin Reid is an Extension Farm Economist with the Agricultural Economics Department at Kansas State University. Robin works on a variety of economic topics including farm financial management, Women in Ag. programming, Farm Bill, and much more. Robin also helps manage the AgManager.info website and works with Extension Agents across the state to put on extension programs. Robin grew up on a farm in Wisconsin and earned a B.S. in Agricultural Business from UW-River Falls.  She also holds a M.S. in Agricultural Economics from K-State.

K-State agricultural economist Robin Reid goes over the details of two items of importance to producers relating to crop insurance: the just-announced opportunity for producers who grew a cover crop over the past few months to earn a premium benefit on their spring-planted crop insurance...and particulars on crop insurance prevented planting provisions, with key dates coming up for corn coverage.

K-State agricultural economist Robin Reid announces that K-State's latest Kansas Agricultural Land Value Trends book is now available...it examines land value changes over this past year on a state, regional and county basis, and breaks the data out by way of land use:  non-irrigated, irrigated and pasture/hay land...it's a highly-valuable resource for variety of purposes.
