Managing Risk with ARC, PLC, and SCO: 2024 Tradeoffs and Tools

VIEW RECORDING

Jenny Ifft and Robin Reid, K-State Department of Agricultural Economics

Via Zoom - No fee, but registration required.

(If you are unable to attend the live meeting, recordings of the presentations will available the following day)

The deadline for selecting ARC (Agricultural Risk Coverage) or PLC (Price Loss Coverage) for crops with base acres is March 15; the same deadline as for crop insurance for spring-planted crops. Producers who select PLC have the option of adding an SCO endorsement (Supplemental Coverage Option) to their crop insurance policy. This webinar will cover implications of current market conditions for these choices and tools available on agmanager.info to support producer decisions.
