The focus of Dr. O’Brien's extension and applied research efforts have been in the areas of grain and bioenergy market analysis - with emphasis on of wheat, feed grain, oilseed, and ethanol supply-demand and prices. He also has been working in the areas of irrigated and dryland cropping systems and natural resource-related issues in western Kansas. A recording of a special Grain Market Outlook Forum that was held as part of the Commodity Tailgate event at Kansas State University on Saturday, October 16, at the International Grains Program Center on the campus.  It featured:
